This is what i run a lot of in the dog days of summer i tie my own i run a 1/0 octostinger on them since switching over a year ago i have only lost 5 fish im actually getting into custom Painting my own spinner blades.

Hello all. I will be constructing a bait tank over the winter. Curious to know what has worked for you. I usually buy suckers and they are charging me $3.50 each for the XL suckers which I use for Flatheads. I need to keep them alive. I have a Engel 19 quart bait cooler that does work great for a period of 3 to 4 days. However, I need something larger that can keep these fish alive and healthy at home. What you suggest? i am interested in buying a different type of filter system that is more simplified than this 5 gallon bucket thing he uses. I may end up using the bucket method however.

I exclusively use Reaper circle hooks. When targeting eater size cats I have been most successful using Triple S blood dip bait. I experimented with Rupe tubes, worms, and other types of dip bait tubes. I decided to use rubber grips used for pens. I removed the grips and used a hold punch to put holes in them. I found this to contain the dip bait a little better. These grips are soft rubber and are very flexible and soft which don't seem to both the catfish.

What have you used and what do you guys have success with?
