Gregory was born on December 28, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and his parents moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin when he was a child. He has lived in Kenosha County since then and received my education there. He graduated from Tremper High School in 1975. Then pursued a career in law enforcement and attended and graduated from Gateway College in 1978 with an Associates Degree in Police Science. He is retired from the Kenosha Police Department (Rank: Detective) with a 32 year career in law enforcement. During that time also worked with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Pleasant Prairie Police Department, Paddock Lake Police Department and the Silver Lake Police Department. Was a Special Agent with the FBI Drug Task Force during the time with the Kenosha Police Department. Married to Dawn Ollila and we have two grown children (Jeremy and Barry). Been a fishing angler his entire life and really enjoy cat fishing the best. Recently purchased a new 2015 Crestliner Intruder Catfish Edition Tournament Angler Boat and have started fishing numerous Catfish Tournaments nation wide. His 34 yr old son Barry Ollila is his primary fishing partner and has other angler partners that fill in if he is not able to fish. Barry is currently working for the Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin Police Department with the rank of Detective. Gregory is currently registered in two major catfish tournaments in 2017, both of which he fished in 2016. Currently waiting for other trails to post their 2017 schedules so he can register for additional tournaments. The two he is registered for in 2017 are the 2017 Mississippi River Monsters Catfish Tournament (Boat #37) to be held in Memphis, Tennessee on September 16, 2017 and the 2017 Monsters on Ohio Catfish Tournament (Boat #11) to be held in Owensboro, Kentucky on October 14, 2017. He has appeared in the King Kat Outdoor Journal Magazine August 2016 issue page 66 and 67 regarding the Cabela’s King Kat Catfish Tournament held in Dixon, Illinois on June 3 and 4, 2016. Also interviewed by the Owensboro Kentucky newspaper on Oct. 8, 2016 regarding the 2016 Monsters on the Ohio Catfish Tournament. Greg and Barry Ollila
